Diablo 2 resolution problem

Installed Suse 9.2 (was running Fedora 3 and slackware 10 before), was going to play some diablo 2 (lod), started the game and it looked interlanced and scrambled, when I got into the game (started playing), it looked alright, but if I changed the video resolution to 800x600 instead och 640x480 as it is originaly it get scrambled again. Anyone has an idea? video drivers are working correctly. starting to get an headache. Have enabled all resolutions in xorg.conf so x.org won't get confused.

(running latest cedega)

Help please!
