yea seems like i have same problem as you dude, ah ha ha ah but i tried tech support and they said they have no clue this problem is very annoying, anyone help??????
You are running with "NoCD" crack are you not? I get that running regular Diablo II when I try to connect to Battle.net. I ended up giving up on NoCD and run the original Diablo II.exe.
