Deus Ex -- Wine 0.9.33 -- Revert to older version of Wine?

I'm trying to get Deus Ex running under Wine, and I'm suffering from Bug 7162 (http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7162), where only a 640x480 rectangle is being rendered. From the aforementioned bug page (and from the one for 7193, which is a duplicate), it would seem that this affects Wine versions after 0.9.27.

How can I revert to that version of Wine? I'm using Ubuntu Feisty.
