CounterSrike: Condition Zero

For the counterstrike fans out there:

I just bought Condition Zero (i said what the heck, i'll give it a try),
as for the installation with winex: it went smood, no error or whatever.

The only thing is I couldn't manage to play CZ 'standalone'. Winex crashes and starts the debugger.
So if u are interested to play CZ, u can just install CZ standalone and later on enable it in Steam.
Steam will convert the CZ files into Steam, and there u go: Play CZ :)
(Ofcourse, to enable the game into Steam u must have a legal CZ cd-key...)

Just wanted to mention this ;)

Have fun

I constantly get the "Cannot connect to Steam network. blah blah blah" error.
Any suggestions in this respect?
Thanks.

Using Codeweavers Crossover

I'm using Crossover Office to install Counterstrike. It's installing, but there's one annoying problem: The window is pushed up into the upper left corner of the screen so far that I can only make out the bottom right corner of it. I can click on "Continue" over and over again, but there comes a time when it's looking for input of some sort -- a directory, I think -- that I have no idea what to type in.

Has anyone else run across this and figured out a solution? I tried adjusting the screen size, but that didn't do anything. I'd like to be able to see the entirety of that window.
