Counter-Strike Source

Is there a way I can play CS:S from a Linux? I have never installed an emulator or anything of that nature but the only game I really care to play would be CS:S.

The only way that I know to play CS:S on linux would to use an emulator such as Cedega. I used Cedega for HL2 and it ran fine... I would assume the same for CS:S.

Is Cedega free or where can you get this?

I can't speak for him but I am sure. You can checkout the code from the CVS tree and build it yourself but it lacks some of the features that the real Cedega has. It's not expensive, it'll only cost you US$15. For the effort those guys put in to keep todays games playable, I think it's well worth the money.
