Counter-Strike 1.5 in Winex

Could not open MCI file for playback: 266: There is an undetectable
problem in loading the specified device driver

How do I fix this?

From the Winex website Counter Strike FAQs (http://www.transgaming.com/gamefaq.php?gameid=1):

I get an error: MCI . . .

To stop this error run Half-Life in a console by running the command line:
winex hl.exe -console -toconsole -game MOD
Where MOD is the name of the mode you wish to use (ie tfc).

I am using cvswinex

how do I run it?
cvswinex hl.exe -console -toconsole -game cstrike

Unknown option '-console'
