Console Based Games?

Are there any good console based games out there for Linux? I know that there is several great rouge-like games, but other then that?

Thanks to any recommendations.

Slackware installation asks if you want to install some "console games", I can't remember their names right now (I could check later, tomorrow or after that when I get to the machine, if you like), but anyway it's a bunch of more or less nice games for the console. Some of then are not actually games (one of them is, for example, a tool which takes some text and turns it into a huge piece of ASCII art for printing), but some are. If you want it quick, I'm sure a web search reveals what packages belongs to that "group".

Nethack is great.
