Clive Barker's Undying on Winex 3.1 / 3.3

Hi,

I installed Clive Barker's undying on winex 3.1 then i run it with the no-cd patch (or otherwise the CD protection will fault winex), then it appears to start correctly but then i get this error:

Critical Error

Assertion Failed: GetClassInfoExA ( NULL , TCHAR_TO_ANSI( WinBaseClass ) , Cls ) [File:Inc\Window.h]
[line:1446]
History: WControl:RegisterWindowClass <- UWindowManager :: UWindowManager <- InitWindowing

After that i tried updating to winex 3.3 but the same error occurs. The likelihoods are that noone knows how to solve this but at least i post it here so google will take care of the rest
