Steam runs fine...

But when I open Counterstrike 1.6, I get the startup screen for about 5 seconds without the fonts loaded, then it exits back into the main steam screen

I get the following error output resultant from the crash:

This is not a 3d acceleration problem, but I do have onboard graphics i810.

Can someone lend a hand please?

What makes you say it's not a 3D problem? Does your computer pass all the tests in Point2Play? Have you updated CS through Steam to current? Did you install all the other packages on the Cedega download page, like the Mozilla control and the fonts?
