I have read several HOWTOs, and finally I can run ePSXe.
The problem now is that I can't configure the plugins (audio or video).
When I open the config dialog I can't choose which plugin to use, I only see the "DISABLED" text.

Does anyone know why the config has this behavior?

mine was doing the same thing at first, then i remembered that when i installed it on windows, it didn't come with the plugin. so i checked and sure enough there were no plugins included in the linux version either. since i have an enormous collection of epsxe windows plugins i thought it'd be easiest just to move them into the plugins folder under linux... nope! i had to download whole new plugins. i'm still fiddling with it trying to get it to work, but i have at least got the plugins to show up in the config--> video menu (though i can't actually configure them!) that should at least give you a start. I'll post if i have any more success, and if you could do the same that'd be great!

sorry if you did have the plugins already and are having a different problem then me, which would make my advice seem somewhat obvious and not helpful at all
