hello there,

I apologise firstly, im completely nub to linux. I'm running ubuntu 11.04 and wine 1.3.37. Im trying to install Atlantica online but dont really have a clue how you do it. I've installed all the winetricks mentioned here on winehq website
namely
- IE7
- Dx9
-vcrun 2005
-vcrun 2008

they all installed fine... now how do i go about actually installing the game itself? ive downloaded the file from the website
done "cd Downloads" and "wine ATDownloader*"

is that correct? terminal says:

-desktop:~/Downloads$ wine ATDownloader*
Log file is being written to C:\users\jo\Temp\ATDownloaderV31408.exe.log

any help greatly appreciated - i have been googling to try to find answers but found non-specific!

**also realised the file from the official website must be a downloader not the client which is why its not working? so downloading the full client from another site.. will update when its done

So i downloaded the client and tried to install with wine using the above winetricks

It started well and a box came up to start installing it - it got nearly to the end and then terminal spat out a load of errors - i tried to post the output here but it wouldnt let me. is there a way to do it (post the terminal output)? i seached the forum as im sure it must have been asked but i cant find anything.
