apt-get error: cannot install frozen-bubble

Trying to install, or even remove, Frozen-Bubble faills.
First, it says "Cannot stat /usr/games/frozen-bubble-wav No such file or directory...
Then it says "There is no script in the new version of the package -giving up...
Ittells me to reinstall it.
I tried with "apt-get --reinstall install frozen-bubble"
but I get the same error messages.
The real problem is that now synaptic crashed, and I cannot install anything.
It insists that I have to reinstall this package before I can do anything else.
I went to the Frozen-Bubble website, downloaded the tarball.
But I don't know what to do.
I just installed Knoppix 3.4 on my harddrive.
Laptop, Athlon XP 2400+
