Analog ePSXe?

I'm having trouble making my analog work on ePSXe. I got my plugin from AmmoQ and the latest version (which I am using) is supposed to support joystick emulation. I am using an EMSUSB2 Converter (PSX->USB) so I would like to be able to use my analog sticks in ePSXe. I've looked around by I haven't been able to find how to set it up and I tried my best (I made it so when i moved right on the left stick it triggered the X button, so no luck :P) and AmmoQ's page doesn't have a FAQ or anything, so if someone could provide me with instructions or a screenshot of their setup or anything to help me out, I would be grateful!

Hi GT_Onizuka!!!

Try using this plugin input (at the bottom of the page ;)). I use myself a PSone joypad in my PC with Rockfire PSX - Bridge adapter. I could never get analog and digital working peacefully, actually, the right analog button doesn't work at all with Linux plugins :S. It's neat in Windows though. Anyway, give it a shot:

Good luck!

Guys - what am I doing wrong? I have the epsxe for Windows and I got it to work.

In linux, I run it but it just reads the CD-ROM and nothing happens. Here's what I did:

1) downloaded version 1.6 of epsxe
2) downloaded Pete's plug-in for GPU and sound (OSS) and then extracted to my plugins folder
3) copied my windows sch1001.bios file and put it in my bios folder
4) configured my video and sound and tested them with the 'test' button and all worked fine
5) selected my sch1001 bin file in the configure options
6) in the CD-ROM section, I used /mnt/cdrom
7) when I run the game, it reads the CD and it keeps spinning, but nothing happens.

Help!

Try looking after a configurations file somewhere.... hmmm. I cannot remember where it was... Anyway, see how it's set to start (OpenGL or Software Rendering, full screen or not) and play with the values. If you graphics card is properly set and even runs on Windows it should work with Linux :(

Good luck!

What kind of plugins are you using? Can you tell me where you got your video/audio plugins?

Hi there!!!

I'm using all plugins from Pete's:

http://home.t-online.de/home/PeteBernert/

With exception of the joypad plugin, which I get from here:

http://www.ngemu.com/psx/epsxe.php?action=plugins

At the bottom of the second page, you will find some CD-rom and joypad plugins. Try using another CD-rom plugin, it may be that the current plugin you are using does not accept CDr or something weird like that :)

I got some more plugins from the website Megaman X showed me and installed it in my plugins directory.

Now when I run the game, I get a black window that pops up but nothing happens. When I close it, it says: "Program 'epsxe' could not be found.'

So now what?

my CD-ROM is: /mnt/cdrom
Is that correct? Is yours like that?

Also, to run epsxe, I use Mandrake 9.1 and just double click the epsxe file. Is this the correct way to do it?
