if you have armyops installed you simply have to change to your folder e.g. cd /usr/local/games/armyops. Then you have to execute it like this: ./armyops

do you have armyops installed?

what directory do you have created?

After i downloaded armyops-2.2.1 for linux i simply made it executeable with:

chmod u+x armyops-lnx-2.2.1.sh (i don't know the exact name at all)

executed the file as root with:

./armyops-lnx-2.2.1.sh

changed to the folder i had it installed and finally executed it with:

./armyops

ok, now simply type:

cd /home/Steven/Program\ Files/Americas\ Army

and run:

./armyops

p.s.: i do not recommend to use "whitespaces" in folder or filenames. Maybe it is a good idea to change the whitespace to an underscore ( " " -> "_" )

it should also work in your current folder. you don't have to reinstall it.

check out your folder name if you try to change you current path and also try you auto-completion with the [TAB]-Key

cd /home/Steven/Program\ Files/Americas\ Army

When I installed it (mandrake 10.0), I just had to type: "armyops" in the terminal and it started (without the "")...

Have you installed the drivers for your gfx?
