Advice on Gaming Emulators?

Hello everyone, I have YDL 6 installed on my PS3 and having the best time with it. But I was wondering, what is the best emulator for me? I want to play Atari and SNES, and NES games but I was wondering can anyone advise on any particular emulators that I can actually use my PS3controller?

I am using Stella 2.5.1 I think and I dont know if I could use my PS3 controller on it, but its fun playing those games =)

until you get a better answer....zsnes is a fair to good emulator of snes. Not sure about atari as never owned one.

2) if there is no atari linux emulator try installing wine and then running atari thru what ever.

3) alternatively installed a windows emulator such as virtualbox...install your ms then install the atari ms emulator

I actually got Stella (Atari) running and GFCE Ultra NES Emulator running, and I got my PS3 controller to work with only the NES emulator, I now want to try installing MAME but I had come to a dead end with trying to install Wahcade
