Adventure Games on Linux?
I know, I could put something incredibly ingenious to a google search about this, but as I'm sure many of you have done it already, maybe you can share your findings. (Okay, I'm in a lazy mood, but that's how it goes sometimes.)
So are there any good adventure games for Linux. And I don't mean windows or dos games that works with emulators and other software that claims not to be emulators. I'm looking for all-original Linux work. I especially like Myst-like games, but Sierra games rock too. So, any good suggestions? |
because i don't play any linux native games and i only play counter-strike through wine, the
best i can personally suggest is looking at this site: http://www.icculus.org/lgfaq/gamelist.php and just look in the genre column to see what game type it is your looking for then visit the site. a few links suggested in the thread below : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ht=linux+games again more links suggested : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ht=linux+games and finally a list of games that some guys put together in this thread : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...ht=linux+games and thats the best i can do for ya ... in the future keep in mind that there is a thing called "search" on this site ;) enjoy! |
If u like SCUMM games (Script Code Under Maniac Mansion) then you should go try ScummVM, it shouldn't be an emulator since it has all the code needed to run the game under linux. If I misread ur post then post back.
O and how the hell do u play nethack, the one that comes with Knoppix. |
