xfdesktop 4.10 not showing any disk icons
Basically what it says, xfdesktop does not show any disk icons except home,trash file system, I have recompiled xfce 4.10 but no go I have tried all the obvious configuration stuff- turning desk icon on/off, installed icon sets, removed session etc, it doesn't matter if I use thunar or spacefm ( my preferred FM ), I assume that this is either a config problem or a service that xfdesktop relies on but I just can't track it, I have googled 'till I'm blue in the face!
