what about the swap ?

it sounds crazy but I will install (try at least ) the LFS in my hdd.

I just wanna ask is there any problem if I use the same partition for both two different linux distrs as swap file the same time ?

I am gonna install suse8, and then try the LFS too.

Is there any vital info saved in the swap partition or just crap that is erased with each reboot ?

cheers.

you can share swap space between multiple distributions.

Just don't use them at the same time (ie two simulataneously running linux systems using the same swap space).
