wget HTML only?

I used the recommended option at the beginning to use wget-list as an input to wget. I'm now at expect-5.43.0 (the first .tar.gz file) and I can't un-tar the thing. First of all, here are the two commands I ran at the beginning.

wget http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...able/wget-list

wget -i wget-list

Every other package has downloaded, compiled, and installed fine (integrity = good). I've also tried to download it manually (again with wget).

I ran the file command on it and it says HTML!!!! ARRRGGHHH!!

I have a feeling I'm doing something really stupid wrong and afterwards I'll be like really mad.

Thanks
