Wake Up!!!

Hey comerads (sp?), I'm just hoping to throw a little life into this section of LQ. Afterall, going through the LFS book takes a certain amount of... shall we say... computer-nerdum, and judging by the lack of threads here, it's starting to look like we're out of touch w/ that great part of ourselves :-)

so any of you guys/girls got anything to report to the table? any cool programs you got going on your lfs (an common blackcat, we want to hear what you freak'n got, don't be shy!!)? Any funny comments you've recieved from family/friends when you told them "I built a linux system from scratch"?

I hope you all didn't format your drives to fat 32 and load up windows again....

;-) J.K.

Maybe with it being so quiet there really are no problems with it, which is a good thing!

What, no way. CVS is the only way to live

I did give up Adam, I was going to resume last weekend, but hell pulled the carpet out from under me, and I am still trying to stand back up. That compounded with the return to a more stressful shift has left my LFS a few steps back for now. As soon as I get it going again, I will happily report how things go. After all, how could I call myself a geek without a running LFS system?

Cool
