tar command not found

HI..

I entered into the chroot environment in lfs 6.5 6th chapter.But I am not able to run tar command.

When I try to untar linux-package I get the "tar command not found " error .

But if I try to run bunzip , gunzip etc. I get no errors.


please Help

Well is tar on there? did you miss it out at a previous stage?

Yes I had missed tar at previous stage.
