[SOLVED] shadow package's link got jerked around, heres the fix

need to get into the live cd and wget this link instead of the link from the wget list

http://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org/....1.4.3.tar.bz2

it was ftp://pkg-shadow.alioth.debian.org/p....1.4.3.tar.bz2, its even broken in the linux from scratch development packages. im trying to get enough key words to make this thread default in googles search for shadow because i seen a bunch of results that make it look like people are searching for shadow 4.1.4.3

Hi,

The ftp site (all ftp://*.alioth.debioan.org) isn't working (at the moment??). So this is not limited to the shadow package. If individual packages are needed use http:// instead of ftp://

One can also use LFS ftp packages to get individual packages or a complete tarbal (at this moment LFS 6.8 is not yet included, but I guess it will be shortly).
