First of all: Do not fully replace a previous reply (#15). People that are subscribed to a thread get a notification once a new post is made, not when a previous post is edited. I, and probably many others, do not keep looking back at older threads/posts unless I'm notified of a new post. Your last post (#18) triggered me to have a look and without that I would not have noticed the new information.

Some of the errors are known and can be ignored as described in the LFS book, but your output shows way to many to ignore them and continue with the build.
I'm not able to find a reason.
Looking at the previous errors you encountered (
binutils and
glibc) I do wonder if something went wrong in those (or other) steps that still need to be fixed.
There's also the issue with executing LFS related commands from outside the chrooted environment, which could have had a negative impact on your host.
If the problem is not related to this specific chapter then it will be hard to impossible to find out what went wrong and fixing it might not even be possible without redoing large parts of the build.
The sane advise to give is: Start again from scratch. Do make sure your host is ok before you start with LFS (if this is done from a VM: remove all and reinstall your host).
I'm sure this is not what you wanted to read, but keep in mind that most people that build LFS for the first time need to start again at some point.... You do have some more experience so things should go more smoothly this time around.
