problem making linux headers. errors recieved during step 5.6 . LFS version 6.4


I receive this error

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `/mnt/lfs/sources/linux-2.6.27.4/include/linux/netfilter/xt_CONNMARK.h', needed by `/mnt/lfs/sources/linux-2.6.27.4/usr/include/linux/netfilter/.install'. Stop.
make[2]: *** [netfilter] Error 2
make[1]: *** [linux] Error 2
make: *** [headers_install] Error 2

when running make headers_check

Any ideas?

Extract the source again, and do exactly what the book says. My guess is that you didn't run "make mrproper".
