What about the current version(7.2)? Does anyone know what is minimum hard drive space requirement? And recommended hard drive requirement?

I think that LFS book mentions about "Build Size" only. I guess this is the final used disk spaces. But to build one, you might need more space.

I think it is good idea to mention about this topic in the preface of the book.

Section 2.2 of the book mentions more about that. There, it gives 2.8 GB as a minimum partition size and 10 GB as a reasonable size for a system. FWIW, the v7.3 system that I just finished building is occupying 743640 KB.
