mawk and math
 

I am in CH.6 on installing mawk. Running configure gives me:

configure: error: Cannot find a math library. You need to set MATHLIB in config.user

I have libm (.a and .so) in /usr/lib

What should I do (besides edit the config.user file to point to the library path)? Shouldn't configure be able to find libm in /usr/lib?

Uh, I erased my mawk directory, re-bzcat'ed it and stuff, ran configure and all was fine.

Odd.
