Loging in to LFS 6.3 at root?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Running LFS from the bootable CD, or as a virtual machine in VirtualBox, I get stuck at the root> prompt.

The install says read /root/README.txt before running the CD, this doesn't help.

Any one know how to login, please.

If you have a prompt that reads "root>" it sounds suspiciously like you're already logged in as root. Try "less README.txt" or "more README.txt"

You are logged in. The LFS live CD automatically logs you in as root.
