lfs liveCD no keyboard on nforce 4 mobo

Hi!
I have an nforce4 mobo and i was trying to start up the lfs LiveCD. In the initial boot terminal the keyboard works fine but in the next 2 windows where i have to chose locale and time zone the keyboard has frozen. The keyboard is probably in US setting or something in the beginning.. and then it just freezes.. what can i try out?

I have no such problems on ubuntu/few live flavors ive tried.
My keyboard only works when i connect an extra ps/2 mouse on winXP...

thanks for any help!

Solved this problem - is an issue with the mobo. I have to set USB-mouse=disable even though i have one.
