LFS and dual boot with other distro
 

Hi, sorry for the [dumb] questions. I'm brand new to LFS. In fact, I'll start building it tomorrow.

Anyway...let me know if I'm on the right track on this.

Question:

1. Can I have a dual boot with LFS and SuSE (or any other distro)? I sense I just need to modify either grub but not really sure if there's more to it.

2. I already have a /LFS partition made. If I use LiveCD to make LFS...Would I mess up SuSE?

3. After I'm done building LFS..How can I package it on a CD so I can load it on to my other computer? just so I don't have to do *everything* manually again.

3. If the "other computer" is the same family (say x86) and you will not use optimization, then the hint on the LFS site applies straightforward. If not (say you want to move you would-be LFS OS from x86 to PowerPC), you will "have to do everything manually again".

P.S.: by the time I post this, you would probably get your LFS built and working...
