Keyboard input not recognized after x.org 7.4 installation

I followed the BLFS instructions.
After starting X I only can move the mouse pointer, so I closed X by using window manager:twm->menu->exit, and got this error message in console:
Quote:
The XKEXBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Error: Error interpreting include file "pc"
> Exiting
> Abandoing symbols file "default"
several times (I think everytime when pressing a key which isnt working properly)

my xorg.conf file entry:
Quote:
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "en_US"
EndSection
Maybe worth mentioning: It's a notebook. (Medion WIM2220)

Ok, intalled xterm. Actually keyboard is working, my apologies for the false alarm. But not all keys seem to work, like CTRL, ALT, ALT_GR, etc, as I cannot terminate the XServer with the key combo CTRL+ALT+BACKSPACE.

Well your xorg.conf may have 'DontZap' set to true, but I just type 'exit' in xterm when in x and ctl-alt-delete from gnome since ctl-alt-backspace is considered a security hole.
