Question is it an error or typo?

In chapter 5 of the lfsbook 3.3, quoted:

code:

cat > ~/.bash_profile << "EOF"
umask 022

LFS=/mnt/lfs
LC_ALL=POSIX
export LFS LC_ALL
EOF
source ~/.bash_profile

should it be LFS="/mnt/lfs" ?
