Held on 5.9. Adjusting the Toolchain
 

Hi folks,

I encountered problem on

5.9. Adjusting the Toolchain

I tried following steps;

lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build$ make -C ld install
make: *** ld: No such file or directory. Stop.

lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build$ cd ../
lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources$ make -C ld install
make: *** ld: No such file or directory. Stop.

lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources$ echo $LFS
/mnt/lfs

on which directory I have to run the command line.

Please help. TIA

Remark: before I also encounted another without a sollution

5.8. Glibc-2.3.4-20040701

lfs:/mnt/lfs/sources/glibc-build$ localedef -i de_DE
-f ISO-8859-1 de_DE
Segmentation fault
