heard a lot about linux and wants to learn now
A friend of mine has master linux OS and have been with him for one week now to take me through the process and he seems not help out and so i decide to join the forum to learn basic thing from the scratch.

I would say if you want to learn the basics and fundamentals of GNU/Linux, start learning with a distribution like Slackware rather than LinuxFromScratch. Slackware really keeps it simple and straight forward.
LFS is an advanced level distribution that might be a bit taxing to learn starting out. |
