[SOLVED] Glibc - make check errors not mentioned in the book

Hooray! It's my second post.

Well, I'm trying to build an LFS system. I'm now on chapter 6, glibc. But when I ran the test suite for glibc, I encountered some errors not mentioned in the book. Are these errors critical, or can I just ignore them?

LFS 7.2
Host - Debian 6.0.6-i386 running on VM (I'm using VirtualBox)
Host Reqs are all ok

Here's what I did:

Have you tried running TIMEOUTFACTOR=16 make -k check 2>&1 | tee glibc-check-log to eliminate test timeouts being exceeded as mentioned in chapter 6.9? Also check the created log files for time-outs (if they are time outs, then you are probably safe to ignore them).

Experience tells me that these 2 can probably be ignored:

This one I'm not sure about:

If you decide to ignore them, you will probably find out if all still works in the next chapter (6.10. Adjusting the Toolchain).

I'll try TIMEOUTFACTOR=16 make -k check 2>&1 | tee glibc-check-log. Maybe next week. Still got some other things to do/rush. I'll report the results as soon as I've tried it.

Hello druuna, I tried what you have suggested (well, it's also in the book

). And guess what? I only got 2 errors, posix/annexc and conform/run-conformtest. And these two are expected errors. Thanks for the help
