I do not think that LFS will go the ruote you have mentioned as it seems there are a few guides of sorts to do this already. Here is one that looks doable and in looking I found a few others that also look pretty good.
I do thank you for the question though as it may be a good projcet and I have wanted to try out a BSD system and this looks like I could learn something from it.
