Gentoo/BSD/LFS

The latest Gentoo newsletter says that they will have a Gentoo for the FreeBSD. Wonder if LFS will also expand to the BSDs down the road ?

I do not think that LFS will go the ruote you have mentioned as it seems there are a few guides of sorts to do this already. Here is one that looks doable and in looking I found a few others that also look pretty good.

I do thank you for the question though as it may be a good projcet and I have wanted to try out a BSD system and this looks like I could learn something from it.

Great post/link. Thanks. !!! I recently tried FreeBSD live CD and it failed. Also, FreeBSD installs on my system failed.

Read an article yesterday that Apple is based on FreeBSD. Hence, it is quite important.
