gcc-3.4.3-no_fixincludes-1.patch

Hey,

I'm on chapter 5.11 of lfs version 6.1.1 ( http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/...gcc-pass2.html ) and I'm running the lfs liveCD.

I'm being instructed to apply two patches to gcc before compilation, but I have only been supplied with one patch (the second mentioned) from the CD. The sources of GCC on the cd are later than those mentioned in the book.

I have looked for the correct patch for my version of gcc (4.0.3) but can't find it anywhere. Do I need it? Or should I just apply the one patch I'm given and assume the issue has been fixed with the more recent version?

Many thanks.

Its done with a sed script rather than a patch for gcc-4.0.3 Quite a few things have changed since 6.1.1, if you are using gcc-4.0.3 then I highly recommend using the current development version of the book. Things are less likely to go wrong.
