I am working with LFS 6.8 section 5.6.1. Installation of Linux API Headers on SUSE 11.3.
It seems like the above mentioned link is DOWN due to some MALWARE.
So can you please let me know from where else can i get
proper Linux tar for my work.
I have with me SUSE 11.3 & CENTOS 6 installation media with me ...

An idea is to copy the name of tar, then ask google for that EXACT tar, and it will come up somehow =)
That's a bad idea... you should always trust the source of were it came from, if it didn't come from the original site it could be modified and without the developers public key or a sha1 or md5 hash there is no way to tell if that tarball is not compromised.
