error in 6.13 binutils~ expect -c"spawn ls"


hi
i m having problem in 6.13 binutils-2.15.91.0.2 while running the command

expect -c "spawn ls"

and i get the error as

spawn ls
no more ptys ask the system adminstrator to add more pty

what to do??

Well, when I ran into that problem with older versions of Knoppix (what are you using for your host distro?), I just had to chmod 777 /dev/ptmx
