If you have Windows probably this partition is "bootable", so don't set the linux partition "bootable" too; i used cfdisk.

You don't need to set Linux partitions as bootable

GRUB and LILO can boot those partitions anyways. They don't need to be marked as bootable.

Best to try this on a crash-and-burn system or a virtual machine.

If you are still unable to boot after removing the boot flags, it would be interesting to see your fdisk -l (that's an ell, not an eye) output and the content of the grub configuration file.

You may want to proofread what you are writing. Hint: There is a preview button.
I agree with moisespedro that it is not clear what your problem is, except that lights on your keyboard are blinking.

If you overwrote your MBR, you can bring it back with the help of a LiveCD.

Any LiveCD would do. You should have no trouble finding recipes for MBR repair.

If you are a beginner, by the way, LFS is not for you.

Neither is it mine. I don't care for grammar mistakes, but you may want to think about structuring your texts a bit.
