dang it..


this distro is taking too long to install.. it's not like when you sit down and relax while the install does the rest.. nooooo.. it's sit and read and wait, sit read and wait, sit read.. you get the drift..

What's so bad about the truth? I think the word "scratch" implies the work-load involved in making an attempt at LFS.

It takes a little while, but once you're done, well, the you reap the benefits. :P

okay.. i got my first bug in lfs 5.0.. when i type what it says to type

Code:
echo 'main(){}' > dummy.c
gcc dummy.c
readelf -l a.out | grep ': /tools'
i don't get any output.. this part is in chapter 5 while "Locking in Glibc".. please help..

nevermind.. i got help from #lfs-support on irc.. i had to su - lfs and create proper ownership under root..
