creating a ramdisk runtime from another ramdisk
 

Hi I a doing a LFS,

This is a russian doll scenario.

What I am trying to do:

I have a CD with an initrd1 and kernel1.

I want to create the initrd1 after putting CD.

This invokes another initrd2 and kernel2 which should be running from memory now.

So its like initrd2 and kernel2 is present in the initrd1.

Is this possible ???

My REAL Problem:

1) I put the Linux CD
2) My bootsplash initrd displays the splash screen.
3) This in turn uncompresses my real initrd (initrd2) and starts using it.

Could u lin-gurus help me out
