Completed LFS but ......


hi all,

thanks for the full support friendz, i have completed LFS version 6.0,am happy abt that. But i am still getting one error in Network Device Configuration. Am havng Realtek Network Card Interface and i have written the /etc/sysconfig/network-devices/ifconfig.eth0/ipv4 as given in LFS Book except for the values. But am getting this error,

IP Variable Missing in /etc/sysconfig/network-devices/ifconfig.eth0/ipv4:Cannot continue

i have selected the Realtek driver also in the kernel.......

but this doesnt stop working in LFS,it justs doesnt start network-device.....

i would be happy if anybdy can help me....

could you post the file contents /etc/sysconfig/network-devices/ifconfig.eth0/ipv4

hi all,

well, i had configured wrong the /etc/hosts scripts whre i configure for no network card version, and i had missed the BROADCAST parameter in ipv4 file............. .........anyway now i have corrected the error..........

my LFS is up and running.........
