CLFS/CBLFS on same partion as CentOS5

I have an AMD 64 bit system with CentOS5 and Slackware 12 as dual boot. My Slackware 12 is the latest OS and fully functional. I would like to do something experimental with my CentOS5.

My CentOS5 is a 32 bit OS. Is it possible to install in the same partition a multilib CLFS following the CLFS-1.0.0 book? I would then like to continue with CBLFS. I have in the past tried out LFS.

Yeah, you can. Just don't make /mnt/clfs a mountpoint. Make /mnt/clfs a directory on your CentOS partition and build CLFS in there. If you need help altering the instructions in the book stop by the cross-lfs IRC. There are a couple of folks there that have done what you want to do before.
