CLFS 1.2 Multilib x86_64 on Ubuntu 11.04 - 10.8.*EGLIBC-2.13 64-Bit Make Test Error

Hi,
I have been following the CLFS 1.2 guide and have gotten to chapter 10.8.

I am trying to build an x86_64 multilib from a Ubuntu 11.04 host.
So far everything has been hunkey dorey.

I am hitting some errors in the tests for EGLIBC and the guide stresses that these are critical to a good working system.
Some errors are supposed to occur but I am unsure which ones.

This is what I get:
http://pastebin.cross-lfs.org/230586

make[1]: Target `check' not remade because of errors.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/sources/eglibc-2.13'
make: *** [check] Error 2
make[2]: [/sources/eglibc-build/posix/annexc.out] Error 1 (ignored)
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/misc/tst-writev.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [misc/tests] Error 2
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/nptl/tst-getpid2.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [nptl/tests] Error 2
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/rt/tst-cpuclock2.out] Error 1
make[1]: *** [rt/tests] Error 2
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/elf/tst-audit4.out] Error 132
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/elf/tst-audit6.out] Error 132
make[2]: *** [/sources/eglibc-build/elf/tst-audit7.out] Error 132
make[1]: *** [elf/tests] Error 2
make: *** [check] Error 2

From what I have read, the audit 4,6,7 are supposed to happen because of GCC 4.6 and somewhere else says the cpuclock2 error isnt a problem either.

But I am concerned about the other two and these errors in general.

I cant see these errors in the logs which were listed on the CLFS 1.2 build logs on the CFLS site.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi samuraixp,

I've seen this thread being rotated on the zero reply list for the last couple days and even though I'm not experienced with CLFS I do want to give you a pointer: You need to post the actual error that was thrown. The lines containing make .... only tell us that something went wrong and not what went wrong. With the info that you posted we are not able to help.

Have a look here: LFS 1.5 (especially 1.5.3)

Hope this helps.
