Building LFS on a Pocket PC


Hello I'm trying to port my linux distro to my pocket pc but the thing I'm stumped about is should I build a temp system then use the uname hack to make the system think it is a arm processor but I don't see how this would work. anyway if anyone has a hint on how I could start this I would be greatful
