Building CLFS with Windows/Cygwin as Host. Possible?

Hi.

I have some time working with LFS distros but now I have a... I don't know if it's a problem or something else.

Let me explain a little longer. I have a Celeron 333 Mhz oldie PC which I want to use to start my own hosting company (yes, sure.. so dreamer). And I also has my PC (which, by now, has Windows XP with Cygwin). The first time I built an LFS was for the Celeron PC and I took around 2 months, and after several attempts, I finally had a LFS running. Why too long?.. well, Binutils compiles in that PC for around an hour. Any problem? yeah.. forgot to back up the tools for building.

I have to re-build other PC again (another oldie PC that I got from my older brother) but I thought I could use CLFS with my Windows/Cygwin PC.

Do you think it is possible?

I do think it is possible, although it may have some catches. If it your own Windows PC, you could install coLinux on it and use generic LFS. coLinux runs a copy of Linux kernel as a Windows process (well ,part of Linux kernel has to be run as Windows driver); so you can launch a compilation process under coLinux and it will have Linux environment (although on weird apparent hardware, but who cares).
