boxes are rendered in place of font when i start my kde after compiling it


hi ,
i have developed a blfs i have installed kde and xorg6.9 but whenever i start my kde fints are not availabe and boxes are appearing .can any body help me on this issue that where i am wrong.

Have you updated the font cache? Xorg is now modular, did you install the fonts? if so witch ones? did you install TTF and enable TTF rendering at compile time?

i have installed xorg 6.9 and installed font by compiling it, and nothing more than that.
i dont know where is the problem . can you tell me all possible reasons for that, or should i have to try xfree86 .I think xorg7 is modular and comes with font module i had downloaded it by wget command, but i have installed already xorg6.9 so is there need to install font module .
