Boot problem

I tried to boot LFS for the first time and got about this message:

root-nfs: no nfs server available, giving up.
Vfs: unable to mount root fs via NFS, trying floppy
VFS: Cannot open root device „sda11” or unknown-block(2,0)
Please append a correct „root” boot option.
Kernel panic – not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(2,0)

Is it problem with kernel compilation or grub?

Here are some of my conf:

grub> root (hd0,10)
Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83

grub> setup (hd0,10)
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage1" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/stage2" exists... yes
Checking if "/boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5" exists... yes
Running "embed /boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0,10)"... failed (this is not fatal)
Running "embed /boot/grub/e2fs_stage1_5 (hd0,10)"... failed (this is not fatal)
Running "install /boot/grub/stage1 (hd0,10) /boot/grub/stage2 p /boot/grub/menu.lst ".
.. succeeded
Done.

Grub entry is:

I already found the problem. I haven't included the support for the specific SCSI in kernel compilation. It took a long time to find it out but it was worth it.
