Question Boot LFS with Grub

I have Grub installed in the MBR. Gentoo is on hda6, LFS hda7, and Slack hda8. I added LFS to my grub menu.lst with
rootnoverify (hd0,6)
chainloader +1
I copied Slack's /etc/lilo.conf file (works great) to LFS's /etc/lilo.conf. I DID not run lilo after doing this. Will this work???

Errmm...if grub is installed on the MBR then copying those lilo.conf files won't make any difference. I think the only config file used by grub is the menu.lst file

HTH

I have Slack setup so that when I select Slackware from the grub menu the grub boot transfers control over to lilo to finish booting (I get the nice lilo frame buffer startup) Oh well I've decided to give up LFS for a while and go on to other things, maybe I 'll come back. Thanks for answering Matt
