Question VMWare: "Console pop-up" immediately goes "disconnected" in Chrome, Firefox (OS/X)

When using either Firefox (latest) or Chrome (latest) on OS/X to connect to a VMWare-driven cloud server, the "console pop-up" immediately shifts to "disconnected" and never shows the console screen. Any ideas?

I suspect a plug-in permission issue, and observe that Firefox briefly asks me (every time) whether I want their desktop-plugin to run. It never asks me anything about a console plug-in. I'd be happy to tell Firefox to install/run any plugin from the host site. But, I don't yet know how.

Hey Sundial,

Instructions for installing VMWare plugin for firefox

VMWare version 4 but hopefully that wont impact the process for installing the firefox plugin.

To determine the status of a plugin in firefox, open the option menu in the corner and click the "add on" icon. Add ons and plug ins are synonymous in Firefox
